It's that time of year again! Summer is ending, the sun is going down again, the leaves are falling, the wood is getting stacked, and we are all preparing for the long winter. Unfortunately, not all of us are capable of feeding our families during the long winter months and having food to eat should be the least of one's worries. With that being said, let's team together and gather up as much food as we can to help our fellow community members and our local Food Bank! Here in Fairbanks, we know how important and gratifying it is to help each other, especially if children are involved. We have all of September to really prove to our community how much we care!
If you don't want to call to find out how you can participate, then enjoy this helpful blog! If you have any food at all that you want to get rid of or donate, stop by our office at 3180 Peger Road and hand your contributions to us! In case you have trouble finding our office, we are in Suite 120. There's a really sweet neon INSURANCE sign that illuminates where our front door entrance is!
